I just attended a “dating violence” seminar for young freshmen women at Wesleyan.  I learned some really important information about date-rape drugs as well as current statistics concerning rape and abuse towards women 16-24 years old.

Women, be aware of your surroundings.  Do not take an open drink from anyone nor leave an open drink on the table unattended.

Men, be aware that a woman who is drunk or drugged is not considered a consenting adult–and in Texas–it is a felony to use her sexually while she is in this condition!
